Dicksonia herbertii (Bristly Tree Fern) spore
Dicksonia (dick sow nee a) herbertii (her bert ee eye) is one of only three Dicksonias in Australia - all of which are endemic. This species is the only one in northern Queensland. It is an elusive tree fern, found in only a few sites, in very wet areas of high altitude rainforests.
In sheltered, wet situations with continuous high humidity the Bristly Tree Fern should grow fairly quickly. Give it a humus rich soil and mulch well.
This spore does not require any special treatment. Just treat like any other spore.
