Amphineuron opulentum spore
Amphineuron (am fee new ron) opulentum (op you lent oom) is a large, striking fern that needs a moist, wind-free situation. It is best grown in the garden, although it performs well in a fernery if there is room. This is a handsome fern that always attracts attention with its large arching fronds of deeply cut pinnae. The sori on the undersides produce raised areas on the upper sides which give an added textural effect to an already lovely fern. It grows from about 1 - 1.8 m high.
Spores germinate readily in a moist situation, and some of them find their way into baskets, or onto totems where they grow as epiphytes.
This spore does not require any special treatment. Just treat like any other spore.
